Carol Forge Hatcher, born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background. She graduated from Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School and pursued her education at the Alabama College of Technology, earning an associate degree in computer technology. Later, she continued her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she completed continuing education courses in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Technology, and Advanced Computer Studies.
After her academic journey, Carol embarked on a successful career path. She commenced her career at Verizon Wireless, starting as a residential sales representative and swiftly ascending to the role of Commercial Executive. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in expanding Verizon's client base, securing contracts with major corporations such as HealthSouth, Carraway Hospital, Lloyd Nolan Hospital, Baptist Montclair Center, US Steel, and ACIPCO, among others. She also served as a Senior Account Executive at Powertel PCS, contributing to the company's startup and brand building efforts, now recognized as T-Mobile.
In the late 1990s, Carol ventured into the field of radio as the General Manager of Willis Media Group. She was notably responsible for introducing world-renowned gospel music to the radio format and featuring ministries of prominent figures such as Bishop Eddie L. Long, Pastors Frederick C.K. Price, Creflo A. Dollar, TD Jakes, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, and Joyce Meyer in Birmingham.
